The 2nd Chinese Nursing Informatics Conference – Call for Abstracts

2019 is the year of the 5G era. The application of 5G technology will bring revolutionary development to data science, smart health, Internet of things, artificial intelligence and blockchain technology, and the use of 5G in medical field is expected to bring in strong vitality. It will also play a pivotal role in accelerating and realizing “Healthy China 2030”, therefore, promoting the construction of advanced medical service model in the new era and sustaining medical and health industry development.


Under the leadership of Chinese Health Information and Big Data Association (CHIBDA), the Council of Nursing, the Committee of Health Nursing Standardization, and the Alliance of Nursing Innovation and Industrialization, are planning to jointly hold the 2nd Chinese Nursing Informatics Conference (CNIC) from November 28th to December 1st, 2019, in Haikou, Hainan province, China. This event will provide a platform for participants to present the achievements of nursing informatics in China, to promote the research of nursing informatics, and to strengthen international academic exchange and technical cooperation. Renown experts, scholars and industry leaders will be invited to attend the conference, and discuss the professional development of the nursing discipline and its related theories, research, and practical models in this 5G era, therefore to further promote the continuous improvement of health in China.


On behalf of the scientific committee, we cordially invite you to submit your abstract to this academic event and participate in this conference.
The theme of the 2nd CNIC:
“5G Empowerment, Smart Nursing”.

The topics for submission include but are not limited to the following areas (including original research and reviews):


1. Big data and artificial intelligence
Theory and practical models in big data analysis, data visualization, machine learning and data mining, artificial intelligence methodology and instrument, data quality management.

2. Human-computer interaction in nursing informatics
Theory and practical models related to health information literacy, technology acceptance, human-computer interface, usability, social media, information security.

3. New care models in 5G era
Theory and practical models related to health information system, electronic health record, clinical decision support system, nursing management system, wearable device, smart phone application, Internet of things, telemedicine, remote health monitoring, etc.

Submission requirements:
1. All submissions shall be scientific, practical and innovative in nature, and relevant to the theme of the conference; The text needs to be accurate, concise, flow smoothly, and has not been published nationally or internationally.

2. The full text and abstract of the paper to be submitted should include four parts: purpose, method, result and conclusion.

Please email your paper to chibda_nursing2018@163.com, with the email subject set as “submission for the 2nd CNIC”, no later than October 20th, 2019.

The Scientific Committee will review all submissions, and there will be best paper awards for selected submissions.
