WG Official Journal – Informatics in Primary Care

The aim of the Primary Care Informatics Working Group is to promote and develop primary care informatics as a specialism within health informatics.

Our current objectives are: (1) Model research studies based on routinely collected real-world data in primary care and general practice electronic health records (EHR); (2) Ontologically rich approaches to case finding and cohort characterization in real-world data sets; (3) The use of ICT at point of care – in the primary care clinical consultation; and (4) Ethical, legal and social issues and challenges.
