Interested in Participating as an IMIA Accreditation Program Site Visit Committee Member?
IMIA accreditation committee continues to seek additional qualified, experienced biomedical informaticians who would be willing to serve on the site visit committees of accreditation of BMHI educational programs.
Potential candidates should have the following qualifications:
- A master degree, preferably in Biomedical Informatics, Health Informatics or affiliated field
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience in a BMHI educational program at the Master level
- A minimum of three years of experience in establishing educational courses in the BMHI field at the Master level.
Candidates should be willing and able to travel to a minimum of two site visits yearly and indicate and comply to IMIA assessment framework for the BMHI education accreditation system.
To become a member of the IMIA site visit committees, candidates are asked to submit a CV showing that he/she has the required qualifications. The IMIA accreditation committee decides on candidates to be nominated as site visit committee member. A letter of interest with a curriculum vita should be submitted to the Chief Executive Officer of IMIA- firstname.lastname@example.org.
