Academic institutions with established BMHI programs can add the phrase “Endorsed by IMIA”, and can use the IMIA logo on their websites, stationery, and other communication media. This is conditional on the IMIA recommendations being fulfilled and once accreditation decision is positive. The program is subsequently included in the relevant official register of IMIA, which means that the degree awarded by the program is recognized by IMIA.
