We are extremely pleased to offer the worldwide Medical Informatics community the opportunity to partake in this lite online version of IMIA’s World Congress.
Accepted papers and posters for MedInfo 2021 will be made available online by recorded presentation at the beginning of October and the website will updated to provide you with details on how to search and access the presentations. While presenting authors had to pay a small publishing fee for their papers and posters to be published, there is no registration fee to attend this online version of MedInfo. It gives IMIA great pleasure to offer you this unique opportunity to take part in the most recent research in the field.
The live sessions will be held over 3 days, with 2 live sessions scheduled for each day. In order to best serve the 24-hour times zone differences, we have scheduled the live sessions to start at 2 PM UTC (Coordinated Universal Time) and 8 PM UTC. Each session will be recorded and made available for those that are unable to attend in person online.
We look forward to you joining us from October 2nd , 3rd and 4th online and have provided the Preliminary Live Session Program below, watch for updated announcements. The registration link will be going live by August 27, 2021.

Alain Labrique is the founding director of the Johns Hopkins University Global mHealth Initiative; an infectious disease and population epidemiologist, he serves as Professor and the inaugural Associate Chair for Research in Department of International Health. Labrique leads research in maternal, neonatal and infant health in resource-limited settings and was recognized as one of the Top 11 mHealth Innovators in 2011. He served as a lead author on the 2012 Bellagio Declaration on mHealth Evidence. In 2018, he was awarded the Excellence in International Public Health Practice Award and a Distinguished Alumnus award from Johns Hopkins University. Labrique has authored over 150 publications in high-impact journals, as well as many book chapters and technical reports. His frameworks for Digital Health remains among the most cited. Prof. Labrique serves as a Technical Advisor to several international and global health agencies and Ministries of Health and is the Chair of the WHO Digital Health Guidelines Development Group and a member of the WHO Digital Health Roster of Experts.
